Valencia CF Academy gets recognition at a sports gala
Diario Sport and LaLiga present VCF's Alevín A with an award for their behavior in last season’s LaLiga FC Futures
The VCF Academy has resumed face-to-face visits to the VCF Soccer Academies around the world, after a last year and a half of postponements due to the global health situation. Club representatives will make direct and personal contact with each of the VCF Soccer Academies located in strategic markets in North America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
The VCF Soccer Academies in Greece and Cyprus were the first to host these face-to-face meetings, in which Vicente Roch, technical coordinator of VCF Soccer Programmes and Borja Eroles, manager of VCF Soccer Programmes, visited facilities in Athens in Greece and Nicosia in Cyprus.
In Greece, a seminar on the VCF Academy working methodology was held with the technical managers of each academy, as well as meetings with the directors and presidents of the different academies to update the project and explain the plans for the current season. Families of participants were gathered to explain how COVID-19 has affected the project and the new programme to be implemented this season.
In addition, a Clinic was run in Greece for the best male and female players from the 11 schools that make up the project in Southeast Europe. Among them were the Under-15 team players who will participate in the international SURF CUP tournament in Salou this November.
In Cyprus, a visit was made to the new academy in Nicosia, which has been incorporated into the programme for Southeast Europe. There, training sessions and a seminar on the working methodology of the VCF Academy were also held, for the technical managers of each of the academies that make up the project in the region.
